Asset Risk Assessment — Real-estate Analysis Platform
An MVP platform that retrieves and enriches real-estate information from documents and multiple external data sources for asset risk analysis.
The challenge
Real-estate risk assessment depends on information distributed across documents and external sources. During the MVP stage, the product needed a service foundation that could retrieve relevant facts, combine them, and make the result useful for analysis.
My role
As a founding engineer, I architected the core service platform during the MVP stage and developed both the backend system and its document-processing pipeline.
Approach
- Used large language models to retrieve information from source documents.
- Integrated multiple data sources to enrich the information available for assessment.
- Designed the core backend services needed to support the first working product.
Outcome
The work established the technical foundation for the MVP, connecting document intelligence and data enrichment in a single real-estate analysis workflow.
Content to add: the source types, architecture, analyst workflow, validation approach, and measurable MVP outcomes that are safe to publish.
What I learned
At MVP stage, architecture is most valuable when it makes the central user workflow possible and leaves the team room to learn from real use.
